Samsung Securities to Hold 'Second Half Asset Management Seminar' on AI Theme

Samsung Securities announced on the 2nd that it will hold the "2024 Second Half Asset Management Seminar" themed on survival strategies and investment strategies in the era of artificial intelligence (AI).


The seminar, scheduled to be held on the 9th at the Samsung Financial Campus in Seocho-gu, Seoul, is an event designed to provide investment insights to Samsung Securities' premium clients. This event is limited to the first 300 premium clients of Samsung Securities on a first-come, first-served basis.


The first lecture of the event will be delivered by Professor Choi Jae-bung from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University. Under the theme "Survival Strategies in the AI Sapiens Era," he will introduce how to prepare and what to do to get ready for the future amid the dawn of the AI era. Professor Choi, who recently published the book "AI Sapiens," is a leading expert in Korea's AI field and has served as the Chief Member of the Digital Society under the ICT Coalition of the Ministry of Science and ICT.


The second session will feature Lee Jong-wook, Head of the Unlisted Solutions Team, and Jeong Myeong-ji, Head of the Channel Solution Strategy Team at Samsung Securities, who will deliver investment insights under the theme "AI Tech Investment Strategy." Finally, Kim Yena, Head of the Samsung Securities Tax Center, will give a lecture on "Tax-saving Trend Secrets for Asset Owners."


A Samsung Securities official said, "In response to the great upheaval of the AI era, we prepared this event to consider what survival and investment strategies are necessary in these trends," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide investment ideas to Samsung Securities' premium clients."


Meanwhile, during the seminar, one-on-one tax consultations with Samsung Securities' tax experts will be available at a booth next to the seminar hall.


Last year, Samsung Securities also held seminars featuring lectures by scholars on generative AI, the world's biggest topic, and investment strategies, as well as conducted online webinars.
