After document screening and on-site inspections by the National Institute for International Education, Kyungnam College of Information & Technology was the only institution in the Busan area to be selected as a new test center among 17 institutions in 11 regions nationwide.

Through this, Kyungnam College of Information & Technology has established a system for nurturing international students that connects Korean language education, verification and certification of Korean proficiency, major studies, and employment through recruitment-linked programs.

Currently, Kyungnam College of Information & Technology operates nine Korean language classes to nurture international students through recruitment-linked programs. To help international students adapt and settle quickly, the college systematically conducts various support programs such as Korean cultural experiences, department experiences, local industry field trips, internships, and expert training programs to prepare for employment.

Kim Honggil, Director of International Exchange, said, "With our selection as a TOPIK IBT test center, we expect that not only trainees of the Kyungnam College of Information & Technology Korean Language Institute but also foreign workers living nearby will experience much less inconvenience in having to travel to other regions to take the Korean language proficiency test."
