The focus was on nurturing core teachers capable of operating curricula tailored to students' career paths.

The training is offered in four courses according to teachers' levels: the basic curriculum completion guidance course consisting of two sessions, one course on career and academic planning experts, and one course on curriculum design and college admission, allowing participants to select and complete courses based on their competencies.

On the 29th, about 80 teachers participated in the first basic course session even on a holiday, showing high interest in the organization and operation of the 2022 Revised Curriculum.

During the training, the following were introduced: ▲ standards for organizing and operating the 2022 Revised Curriculum ▲ cases of student-choice-based curriculum organization and operation ▲ sharing of semester system operation cases ▲ considerations when operating the semester system. The Office of Education plans to conduct the remaining two courses in July.

A teacher who participated in the training said, "I was able to realize once again that curriculum design leads to lessons and assessments, which ultimately connect to students' career paths and college admissions," adding, "I will strive harder to provide lessons and assessments that support students' growth."

Superintendent Lee Jeong-seon stated, "I hope this training will help teachers in the field operate the curriculum," and added, "We will continue to support the successful implementation of the 2022 Revised Curriculum in schools."
