Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 2nd that the 'Seodaemun Sharing 1% Miracle' project, which began at the end of October last year, has recently surpassed 50 participating stores thanks to the active participation of small business owners.

Recently, the district office signed agreements for the 'Seodaemun Sharing 1% Miracle' project with Bukcheongsa (40th store), Gajwa Seoul Dental Clinic (44th store), Muan Gaetbeol Nakji (45th store), Matitneun Kalguksu (46th store), Pungcheon Baekse Eel (47th store), Raphael Comprehensive Animal Hospital (50th store), Chunhyanggol Namwon Chueotang (55th store), and Alles Gute (57th store) in the mayor's office.

Participating sharing stores receive various incentives such as certification plaques, promotion through the district newsletter, social networking services (SNS), online Hall of Fame, and tax benefits for donations.

Park Jongsu, CEO of Matitneun Kalguksu, which joined as the 46th store, said, "I am happy to be able to help neighbors in need and will actively encourage nearby merchants to participate in the Sharing 1% project."

Lee Seongheon, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, said, "I thank the small business owners who joined this meaningful sharing during difficult times, and we will continue to strive to spread the culture of sharing in the local community and support vulnerable groups."

The district discovers sharing stores that donate 1% of their profits, signs agreements with them, and uses the collected funds for welfare projects for vulnerable groups.
