In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 1st (local time), she earned 2.49 points, jumping 10 spots from 45th place last week. She accumulated points by winning the playoff at the McCol·Mona Yongpyong Open (total prize money 800 million KRW) held on the 30th of last month at Birch Hill Golf Club in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon Province (par 72, 6,435 yards) on the KLPGA Tour.

This is her third win of the season and seventh overall, following the Doosan Match Play in May and last week's BC Card·Hankyung Ladies Cup, with a winner's prize of 144 million KRW. Winning two consecutive weeks on the KLPGA Tour is the first time in 1 year and 8 months since Lee So-mi won the SK Networks·Seokyung Ladies Classic and the S-Oil Championship back in 2022. She leads jointly in multiple wins, and is also leading in prize money (886.63 million KRW) and grand prize points (344 points).

The Dow Championship on the LPGA Tour, which is a two-player team event, does not award world ranking points, so there was no change in the top rankings. Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu (both from the United States), Ko Jin-young, Yin Ruoning (China), and Yang Hee-young maintained the ‘Top 5’. Korea’s Kim Hyo-joo ranked 13th, Shin Ji-ae 28th, and Lee Ye-won 29th. Choi Ye-rim, who finished runner-up to Park Hyun-kyung in the McCol·Mona Yongpyong Open playoff, jumped 26 spots to 110th place.
