Hansol Holdings, the holding company of Hansol Group, announced on the 2nd that it has published the ‘2024 Hansol Group Sustainability Management Report,’ which contains key achievements related to the group’s sustainable management.
The 2024 Hansol Group Sustainability Management Report was prepared in accordance with the international standard GRI (Global Reporting Initiative). It is composed of the ‘Sustainability Essentials’ section, which details the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management status and key issues of 11 companies including Hansol Holdings, and the ‘Sustainability Action’ section, which contains quantitative and qualitative ESG management achievements.
In particular, following last year, the ‘double materiality assessment’ method was introduced again this year. It focused on reflecting the demands of internal and external stakeholders according to global ESG initiative disclosure and evaluation standards.
The double materiality assessment is an evaluation method that comprehensively analyzes the non-financial impacts of a company’s management activities on the environment and society, as well as the impacts of external ESG-related issues on the company’s financial status, to select the company’s core ESG issues.
A Hansol Group official stated, “By publishing the sustainability management report every year, we transparently disclose ESG strategies and achievements to various stakeholders. Going forward, Hansol Group will continue to derive and implement strategic tasks that can improve the environment, society, and governance, thereby continuously strengthening the ESG management system.”
