Disquiet Successfully Concludes 'Maker Sprint' for Early AI and SaaS Entrepreneurs

Disquiet, a community for IT service planners, developers, and designers, announced on the 2nd that it has successfully completed the "Maker Sprint" in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

The "Maker Sprint" is a program where prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs with development capabilities gather to validate and enhance products in the AI and SaaS sectors. In the first cohort, a total of 15 teams were selected, including co-founders of BankSalad, developers from AB180 and Toss Payments, and startup teams that have already secured seed investments.

The selected teams established their initial direction through peer learning, sharing their product development processes and exchanging feedback over three weeks. The Disquiet team, possessing expertise in team building, minimum viable product (MVP) development, and content marketing, along with engineer-turned-entrepreneur mentors participating as partners, provided professional mentoring.

The program was modeled after Y Combinator, a leading early-stage startup accelerator in the United States, and both the participants and the organizers leading the program were composed of individuals with skills in planning, development, and design. This was to facilitate participant networking, secure potential customers among Disquiet community users, and assist in early market validation of products.

After the three-week mission, the top five teams selected through voting within the Disquiet community will receive Disquiet advertising credits worth a total of 10 million KRW. The top teams include the web browser-based SaaS automation service "OnTheFly," the customer data integration and visualization tool "Trackit," and the enterprise SaaS management solution "Scodi."

Hyunsol Park, CEO of Disquiet, said, "Through Disquiet’s community, which attracts over 120,000 IT makers monthly, we will strive to help AI and SaaS entrepreneurs with excellent development capabilities quickly and easily gather their initial customers."

Seungguk Lee, Growth Partner at Mashup Ventures and a mentor in the program, said, "Maker Sprint is an essential program for early AI and SaaS startups, attracting even founders who have already received investments. We expect it to be a great opportunity for outstanding startup teams to grow together."

Meanwhile, Disquiet is recruiting participants for the second Maker Sprint until the 10th, and related information can be found on the Disquiet website.
