Oh Eon-seok, the mayor of Dobong-gu, conducted an inspection of facilities in preparation for heavy rain ahead of the upcoming monsoon season.
On July 1st, Mayor Oh visited two flood-prone facilities in the area expected to be affected by heavy rain and checked preventive measures.
On that day, Mayor Oh toured the large construction site at Changdong 1-23 (Seoul Arena construction site) and the buffer green space redevelopment section of the Gyeongwon Line (from Nokcheon Station to Changdong Station), and instructed the relevant departments to take prompt action on areas needing improvement.
He also urged efforts to promote safety awareness among residents in preparation for the monsoon season.
Meanwhile, prior to the inspection, Mayor Oh held an emergency meeting to review disaster occurrence predictions, response plans for each stage, and matters related to the responsible departments.
