Any resident of Gyeonggi Province can apply for a safety inspection through the 'Safety Prevention Hotline.' Gyeonggi Province conducts free safety inspections through a special safety inspection team for the reported issues.
To ensure that free safety inspection applications can be made at any time, since April this year, Gyeonggi Province has switched the situation room staff to a 24-hour work system. In addition to safety inspection requests, reports of illegal activities related to food and environment are also accepted 24 hours a day.
Kim Neung-sik, Director of Safety Management Office of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "If you discover hazardous facilities or illegal activities around your daily life, you can apply for a safety inspection anytime through the Safety Prevention Hotline," adding, "To create a safe and livable Gyeonggi Province, participation and interest from not only local governments but also all residents are necessary."
