Appointment of First Female Myeonjang in Second Half Regular Personnel Changes
Started Public Service in 1992 from Sinui-myeon

On the 1st, Shinan-gun announced that in the second half regular personnel appointment, for the first time in 55 years since separating from Muan-gun in 1969, a female myeonjang (township chief) was appointed.
Park Hyang-ran, the myeonjang of Sinui-myeon, is the person in question. Park Hyang-ran, a native of Sinui-myeon, began her public service career in September 1992 as a grade 9 public official. Since then, she has served as the head of the Multicultural Family Center, public relations team leader, and deputy myeonjang of Sinui-myeon before being appointed as myeonjang this time.
Myeonjang Park Hyang-ran is recognized as an exemplary figure in the public sector, demonstrating outstanding driving force with her unique meticulousness and consideration.
Park Woo-ryang, the mayor of Shinan-gun, said about Park Hyang-ran, "She is an employee with excellent delicacy and work execution ability," adding, "I hope that Park Hyang-ran's strengths will have a positive influence on Sinui-myeon and its residents."
