A teenage high school girl was stabbed with a weapon wielded by an unidentified man in a cram school restroom.

The Ansan Danwon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced that at around 3:40 PM on the 1st, female high school student A was stabbed by a man B, estimated to be of a similar age, in a cram school restroom in Danwon-gu, Ansan City. The victim was transported to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
Upon receiving a report from the cram school, the police immediately began tracking the suspect. A man believed to be B was found in a nearby apartment close to the crime scene.
The police are currently verifying the identity of the deceased man and investigating the circumstances of the incident with cram school officials and others involved. The police stated, "It was initially mistakenly reported that both the victim and the perpetrator had died, but both are currently receiving treatment at the hospital."
