Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do announced on the 1st that Lee Young-min, the 22nd district mayor, was inaugurated.

On the same day, Mayor Lee received his appointment letter from Lee Sang-il, the mayor of Yongin, and began his duties as district mayor by attending a meeting with senior officials. In the afternoon, he participated in communication meetings with residents held in Jukjeon 3-dong and Dongcheon-dong, and after returning to the district office, he held a meeting with senior public officials.
Mayor Lee said, "I feel a heavy responsibility as I am inaugurated as the district mayor who must lead 370,000 Suji residents and understand public opinion," adding, "I will prioritize the safety and happiness of the residents and carry out field-centered administration with a proactive attitude to promptly resolve even small inconveniences."
Mayor Lee began his public service career in 1997 and has served as the head of Jungang-dong, public relations officer of Yongin City, and head of the administration department.
