Contributing to Inspiring Entrepreneurial Spirit and Boosting Employee Morale
On the 1st, Haman County in Gyeongnam selected and awarded four outstanding businesspeople and exemplary workers who have contributed to revitalizing the local economy and improving labor-management relations.
This year’s Outstanding Businessperson Award is presented to entrepreneurs who have contributed to the local economy and social responsibility through new technology development, job creation, labor-management cooperation, and large-scale investment. The recipients are Park Sugil, CEO of Sanullim, a landscaping and forestry company that has contributed to park greening, park maintenance, and forest disaster prevention in Haman, and Lim Kyungmin, CEO of Power RST, who has led the development of welding equipment and technology for railway and aircraft engines, promoted mutual cooperation with the local community, and contributed to regional development.

Companies selected for the Outstanding Businessperson Award receive a certificate of commendation, preferential support for small business development funds, and additional points when participating in overseas exhibitions and fairs.
In addition, the Exemplary Worker Award was presented to Yang Junghwa, manager at Yeongnam Industry, and Jung Yujin, manager at Daejin Electric Power, who have diligently worked in the field, actively contributed to improving quality and productivity, and helped realize social values through activities that stabilize labor-management relations and promote public interest.
Meanwhile, since 2015, the county has been selecting and awarding outstanding businesspeople, and since 2022, exemplary workers, to encourage business motivation and boost morale among entrepreneurs and workers.
