"'Filial Piety District Mayor' Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Begins 3rd Anniversary of 8th Term 'Filial Communication'"

Park Gang-su, mayor of Mapo District, is having a conversation with an elderly person at the "Filial Piety Meal" event.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, embarked on a 'communication walk with residents' on the first day of the third year of the 8th local government administration on the 1st.

At 11 a.m., he visited Down Church in Hapjeong-dong, the site of the 'Hyo-do Bapsang' (Filial Piety Meal), which was selected as the number one policy among the top ten policies chosen by Mapo residents, to express gratitude and respect to the elderly who devoted and sacrificed themselves so that the Republic of Korea could exist today.

He also did not forget to extend words of encouragement to the volunteers and other related personnel, the unsung heroes behind the Hyo-do Bapsang.

At 2 p.m., he visited the Gongdeok Silppuri Welfare Center, which aims to realize meticulous welfare that permeates the lives of all residents, toured the facility, and took time to listen to the opinions of its users.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "As we mark the second anniversary of the 8th local government administration and begin the third year, I reaffirm my determination to never lose the initial resolve and to endlessly advance toward the 'Era of Happiness for Mapo Residents.' I will continue to run directly to the field with the belief that the answer lies on-site, listen carefully to the voices of residents, and do my best to make Mapo better."

Meanwhile, Mayor Park Gang-su did not neglect communication with the staff. During the morning commute, he prepared a 'Coffee Truck of Love' for the employees who have vigorously led the 8th local government administration for two years, and had lunch with executives and employees of affiliated organizations, holding a communication meeting about district administration.
