'Good Job Cafe' for Women's Employment Opens in Jung-gu, Daegu... 15 Hired by 10 Companies

Daegu City will hold the on-site employment counseling service 'Good Job Cafe' for women who are career-interrupted or unemployed and seeking jobs, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 8 at Milbat Bakery in Jung-gu, Daegu.


This event is organized by the Sindalseo Women's New Employment Center, with 10 companies participating and planning to hire 15 women. There will be both direct recruitment, where candidates are hired immediately after on-site interviews (1 company, 1 person), and indirect recruitment, where job seekers are recommended to companies (9 companies, 14 people). The recruitment fields include care workers, childcare teachers, cooks, nurses, social workers, and production workers.

The company hiring directly is Chamjoeun Nursing Home, while the companies for indirect recruitment are Hanshin Senior Nursing Home, Yeram Nursing Home, Cheonsa Daycare Center, Geonyeong Cleaner Co., Ltd., Hyundai Medical Foundation Dalseong Nursing Hospital, Aileen's Garden Daycare Center, Dalseo SK View Daycare Center, Samsung Oncare Nursing Home, and Bomnal Home Long-Term Care Institution, totaling nine companies.


At the Good Job Cafe, a variety of free employment support services will be provided, including one-on-one customized employment counseling tailored to individual career backgrounds, age, and career interruption period, as well as job information, vocational training courses, and certification guidance.


In particular, this event is held at the local business 'Milbat Bakery' to allow job seekers to participate in a more comfortable environment. This location is within walking distance from Jungangno Station, Banwoldang Station, and Daegu Station, making it easily accessible for all Daegu citizens.


Additionally, to efficiently connect senior citizens with work capabilities to jobs, the Dalseo Senior Center will operate a dedicated employment counseling desk. Employment-related organizations will also collaborate, such as the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s National Employment Support System, which will run an integrated employment support and livelihood assistance desk.


Furthermore, a variety of events such as an employment encouragement campaign and a lucky wheel will be offered to all female participants hoping to find employment, along with souvenirs to boost job-seeking motivation.

Meanwhile, this year, the Good Job Bus & Cafe is planned to be held a total of 10 times. In the first half of the year, five sessions were held, resulting in 709 job registrations, participation from 62 companies, 183 on-site interviews, and 123 successful job placements.
