290 People in 3 Areas Including Public Service Support

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 1st that it will recruit 290 job seekers to participate in the '2024 3rd Phase Hope Dream Job' project from the 3rd to the 16th.

Yongin City Recruiting Participants for Hope Dream Job Project

The 'Hope Dream Job Project' is a program that temporarily provides public jobs to citizens aged 18 and over who have the ability to work but have no regular income due to difficulty finding employment. The city prioritizes selecting individuals with assets of 300 million won or less.


Selected participants will take part in 196 projects across three fields?public service support, environmental cleanup, and public property aftercare?from September 3 to December 19. Main tasks include organizing books, administrative support, illegal advertisement cleanup, and maintenance of sports and cultural facilities.


Those aged 65 and over will work 3 hours a day, 15 hours a week, while those under 65 will work 5 hours a day, 25 hours a week. The city applies the minimum hourly wage (9,860 won) and pays an average monthly wage of 810,000 to 1,280,000 won.


Applicants wishing to participate should bring their ID and other supporting documents to their local eup, myeon, or dong administrative welfare center. For more details, check the announcement on the city’s website or call the call center at 1577-1122 for guidance.


Earlier this year, through the 1st and 2nd phase projects, the city provided public service support work to a total of 585 people.
