AhnLab Launches Integrated Cloud Operation and Management Corporation 'AhnLab Cloudmate'

AhnLab announced on the 1st that it has launched AhnLab Cloudmate, an integrated corporation specializing in next-generation cloud operation and management services (MSP), by merging its cloud service business organization with Cloudmate, a cloud-native specialized subsidiary.

This integrated corporation was established to strengthen competitiveness as a next-generation MSP in the cloud market and to expand its business. AhnLab Cloudmate plans to enhance technological competitiveness and actively explore business opportunities by combining AhnLab's security framework-based cloud construction and operation capabilities with Cloudmate's expertise.

The organizational integration of the two companies was carried out by AhnLab transferring its MSP and other cloud service-related businesses to Cloudmate. The representatives of AhnLab Cloudmate are former AhnLab Service Business Division Head Kim Hyung-jun and former Cloudmate CEO Ko Chang-gyu, who will jointly lead the company.

AhnLab CEO Kang Seok-gyun said, "We decided on this integration based on the judgment that combining the capabilities of both companies would create strong synergy," adding, "We expect AhnLab Cloudmate to establish itself in the market as a next-generation MSP company that can provide customers with differentiated value through secure cloud-native services."

Ko Chang-gyu, CEO of AhnLab Cloudmate, stated, "With the recent emphasis on service timeliness and generative artificial intelligence (AI), both agile response based on cloud-native and information security have become important," and added, "Through this integration, we will support more customers in utilizing secure cloud services in a truly cloud-native way."

Kim Hyung-jun, CEO of AhnLab Cloudmate, said, "This integration is meaningful because it creates synergy by combining AhnLab's enhanced security MSP capabilities with Cloudmate's cloud-native expertise," and added, "Based on this, we plan to provide optimized cloud environments tailored to various clients to enhance business competitiveness."
