Korea Racing Authority Busan Dong-gu Branch Delivers Donation to Create Senior Jobs

Sanbokdoro Picnic Experience Project 7 Million Won

The Busan Dong-gu Branch of the Korea Racing Authority delivered a donation of 7 million won to the Dong-gu Community Welfare Center on the 27th of last month to create jobs for seniors in urban regeneration villages.


The donation ceremony, held at the Busan Dong-gu Community Welfare Center, was attended by Branch Manager Park Heetae, Director Kim Changgeun, and Seong Hyunhee, Head of the 2030 Planning Team at Busan Dong-gu District Office, among other officials.


This donation will be used through the Dong-gu Community Welfare Center for the training of village guides in the urban regeneration village (Sanbok Road).


A representative from the Korea Racing Authority stated that this initiative is expected to provide quality jobs for local seniors, enabling them to lead active and vibrant lives, while also contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.


Park Heetae, Branch Manager of the Korea Racing Authority Busan Dong-gu Branch, said, "I hope this will be an opportunity for seniors to regain vitality in their lives through work and enjoy a healthy old age within social relationships," and added, "The Busan Dong-gu Branch will continue to listen to and support the voices of marginalized neighbors in the community, including children, seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income groups."
