Hyundai Motor Securities announced on the 1st that it published a sustainability management report on the 28th of last month, detailing its efforts and achievements in promoting sustainable management.
The "Hyundai Motor Securities 2024 Sustainability Management Report" is primarily composed of the "Sustainable Value Story," which presents Hyundai Motor Securities' business strategies and achievements in an easy-to-understand manner, and the "ESG Fact Book," which contains key quantitative and qualitative ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) information.
In the "Sustainable Value Story," the keyword "AAA (Achieve, Advance, Accelerate)" was presented. It illustrates securing digital competitiveness through strengthening digital financial platforms and asset management, leading through comprehensive innovation in retail, retirement pensions, and corporate finance (IB) businesses, and accelerating the advancement of ESG management through strategy and policy formulation and participation in global initiatives. In particular, a highlight section was newly established to allow a quick overview of major initiatives and achievements by keyword.
The "ESG Fact Book" is divided into "Environmental, Social, Governance, ESG Investing," disclosing detailed information by each area. Hyundai Motor Securities segmented information types into governance, strategy, risks and opportunities, goals, and performance, expanding the scope of disclosure compared to the previous year. Notably, it revealed that through the implementation of the carbon neutrality roadmap established last year, it is strengthening the management and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
