IBK Industrial Bank Expands PX and Convenience Store Discount Benefits for IBK Nara Sarang Card

IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 1st that it has expanded the discount benefits for the IBK Nara Sarang Card at military marts (PX), convenience stores, and public transportation.

The bank significantly increased the maximum discount rate at military marts (PX) from the previous 10% to up to 20%. Discounts are applied as follows based on the payment amount per transaction: 5% for 30,000 KRW or more, 10% for 70,000 KRW or more, and 20% for 100,000 KRW or more. The monthly maximum discount limit was also raised from 2,000 KRW to 50,000 KRW.

The military mart (PX) discount benefit is available when receiving military pay through the Armed Forces Financial Management Corps with the IBK Nara Sarang Card as the payment account, and there is no requirement for previous month’s usage performance.

Additionally, IBK Industrial Bank has strengthened discount benefits for convenience stores and public transportation. The number of convenience store (CU, GS25) discount uses increased significantly from a maximum of 2 times per month to up to 2 times per day and 10 times per month. The public transportation discount rate was raised from 10% to 20%, and the discount limit increased from 2,000 KRW per month to 10,000 KRW per month.

The convenience store and public transportation discount benefits are available when the previous month’s usage amount is 250,000 KRW or more, and the combined discount amount for convenience stores and public transportation can be up to 10,000 KRW per month.
