KB Securities announced on the 1st that it held a quiz event for financial consumers and conducted 'Disability Response Training' for employees in celebration of the 2024 3rd quarter 'Consumer Protection Day.'
KB Securities designates the first business day of each quarter as the company-wide Consumer Protection Day, taking the lead in enhancing the rights of financial consumers. In particular, it provides investment information and education to prevent financial damage for financial consumers, while also offering various consumer protection-related content and training courses to KB Securities employees, emphasizing the importance of consumer protection once again.
On this Consumer Protection Day, KB Securities is conducting a 'Review My Financial Products and Take the Quiz Event' targeting customers who purchased financial products such as Korean won over-the-counter bonds and funds through KB Securities branches and online channels. Customers who meet the event participation criteria are notified of the event via Long Message Service (LMS), and among those who correctly answer quiz questions regarding ▲understanding of financial consumer protection and ▲features of financial products, 100 winners will be selected by lottery to receive two Starbucks mobile coffee coupons as prizes.
Additionally, KB Securities, which established 'Warm Communication Seats,' dedicated counters for financially vulnerable groups, at all branches in May this year, held disability response training for all employees on the 3rd quarter Consumer Protection Day to improve understanding of disabled persons, a financially vulnerable group, and to strengthen awareness of consumer protection.
