This internship program was open to global top-tier MBA students or graduates from prestigious overseas universities regardless of nationality, attracting high interest with over 5,000 applicants worldwide. Intern selection was based not only on academic ability and job competency but also on interest in Korean culture and K-Food, as well as a willingness to develop a long-term career in Korea.
Ultimately, 18 outstanding talents from institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, and MIT were selected in areas including business development, marketing, research and development, software development, human resources, and digital promotion. The interns come from diverse nationalities including the United States, France, and Singapore. The interns were selected in early last month and will engage in practical work such as executive mentoring, experiencing CJ Group’s infrastructure, and individual projects related to global business until the 2nd of next month. Following an evaluation process, they are expected to be formally hired.
CJ CheilJedang has recently been making efforts to secure talent that will play a key role in expanding its global business by recruiting many foreign executives from multinational companies and expanding the application of global standards in work methods, organizational culture, and infrastructure.
