The Daejeon Waterworks Headquarters announced that starting from the 1st, it will produce bottled tap water under the brand ‘It’s 水 (It’s Su)’ featuring the character Kkumdori.


The Kkumdori bottled tap water includes Daejeon’s representative character Kkumdori on the bottle cap as part of the ‘Daejeon Kkumssi Character City Marketing Activation’ policy, and it will be manufactured in compliance with the Ministry of Environment’s standards for packaging material recycling composition, structure, and recyclability.


The Kkumdori bottled tap water aims to supply 550,000 bottles annually and will be used for outdoor citizen participation events hosted by public institutions, emergency water supply in disaster-affected areas such as droughts, and support for social welfare facilities.


Kim Young-bin, head of the Daejeon Waterworks Headquarters, stated, “We will supply Kkumdori bottled tap water at public events in the second half of the year, such as the 0 o’clock Festival, to simultaneously promote the excellence of the Kkumdori character and tap water.”
