Hyundai Motor Securities Launches 'Semiconductor Value Chain Wrap Account'

Selective Investment in Major Semiconductor Stocks and Promising SoBoJang Companies

Hyundai Motor Securities announced on the 2nd that it has launched the 'Semiconductor Value Chain Wrap Account' product, which invests by incorporating not only major domestic semiconductor stocks but also promising stocks from upstream and downstream industries.

The global semiconductor market is booming due to the AI (Artificial Intelligence) wave. Accordingly, the industry expects benefits for semiconductor as well as materials, parts, and equipment companies due to increased server shipments, expanded semiconductor demand in China, and increased smartphone sales.

In line with these changes, Hyundai Motor Securities has launched the 'Semiconductor Value Chain Wrap Account' product, which invests by incorporating promising stocks from both major domestic semiconductor stocks and upstream and downstream industries.

The main investment point of the 'Semiconductor Value Chain Wrap Account' product is that it selects promising stocks by process in collaboration with semiconductor specialist analysts.

For example, if the analysis of current changes in the semiconductor industry suggests a positive outlook for the post-processing packaging sector, related stocks are incorporated accordingly.

In particular, to prevent side effects from excessive diversification and to pursue high profitability in a rising market, a compressed portfolio of 7 to 8 stocks is managed. Stocks are rebalanced according to market conditions, including leading large-cap stocks and promising semiconductor-related stocks.

Kang Seong-mo, Head of Retail Division at Hyundai Motor Securities, said, "With recent AI investments by global big tech companies, the semiconductor sector is receiving more attention than ever," adding, "This will be a good alternative for investors who want to invest in semiconductor stocks but have not found suitable investment options."
