Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will hold a 2025 College Admission Early Decision Strategy Briefing Session at 7 PM on July 18th in the Seon-inbong Hall on the 2nd floor of Dobong-gu Office.

With the 2025 college admission early decision application period starting on September 9th, this briefing session is expected to provide practical assistance to examinees and their parents.

At the briefing, Park Moon-su, a teacher from Cheongwon Girls' High School affiliated with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's College Admission Guidance Support Team, will give a lecture on the topic "Understanding and Preparing for the 2025 Early Decision Admission."

Registration is open for the first 250 applicants, and applications can be made from 9 AM on July 1st through the Dobong-gu Office website (Communication & Participation → Internet Application/Reservation).

In addition, to support successful early decision applications, the existing college counseling office will be operated as a specialized early decision counseling office throughout August. It will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 8 PM, targeting 64 third-year high school students (including repeaters and out-of-school youth) residing in Dobong-gu or attending school there.

Applications can be submitted on the Dobong-gu website from 9 AM on July 1st until 6 PM on July 7th.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, stated, "Due to variables such as the increase in medical school quotas and the expansion of non-major admissions, it is difficult to predict the college admission situation," adding, "I hope this briefing session will greatly help examinees establish their early decision application strategies."
