Guro-gu Holds Retirement Ceremony for First Half of 2024

Guro District Office (Mayor Moon Heon-il) held the "2024 First Half Retirement Ceremony" at 5 p.m. on the 26th of last month at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel located in Guro 3-dong.

The district organized the retirement ceremony to encourage the dedication of retirees who have faithfully performed their duties with a sense of mission during their tenure.

At the ceremony, to celebrate the retirees, Mayor Moon Heon-il and fellow district office employees attended. The event included a pre-ceremony saxophone performance, an encouragement speech by the mayor, a farewell address by the retiring officials, a banquet, and commemorative photos.

Additionally, on the same day in the morning, at the Guro District Community Center auditorium, during the 2024 second quarter regular employee assembly, Mayor Moon Heon-il presented plaques of appreciation to the retirees.

Mayor Moon Heon-il said, "The experiences of dedicating yourselves as public officials for the residents will be a valuable nourishment to take the first step into the second chapter of your lives," and added, "I support your future life and wish you health and good fortune."
