Former People Power Party Emergency Response Committee Chairman Han Dong-hoon opened a personal Instagram account and began communicating with his supporters. Han is currently running for the next party leader position of the People Power Party.

The first photo Han posted on his Instagram account was of his pet cats, 'Yangi' and 'Tani.' Han added the caption "Yangi/Tani" along with the hashtag '#HanDonghoon' to the post.
Han has shown affection for his pet cats, even setting a photo with them as his Facebook profile picture.
The second post was a photo with famous Hollywood actress Tilda Swinton. The photo shows Swinton wearing a yellow hat and sunglasses, standing shoulder to shoulder with Han as they look at the camera.
Han wrote in the post, "I happened to meet Tilda Swinton while passing through Itaewon quite some time ago."
Supporters responded positively to Han's 'communication move,' saying "Welcome." They left comments such as "Please post on Instagram often. Meanwhile, on the 23rd, Han held a press conference at the National Assembly Communication Office to officially announce his candidacy for the People Power Party's July 23 party leadership election.
He stated, "I will turn the experience of the general election defeat into a foundation for change, victory, and regime re-creation," and expressed his ambition for the party leadership election by saying, "I will horizontally reestablish the relationship between the party and the government."
He added, "The only way for the People Power Party, which lacks seats, to overcome the crisis is to win the hearts of the people," and said, "If the party or the government takes a path different from public sentiment, one side must firmly and resolutely guide them back to the path of the people's will."
