Due to the monsoon rain, some flights to and from Jeju International Airport on the 30th have been canceled, causing disruptions in operations.
According to Korea Airports Corporation Jeju Airport, as of 10 a.m. that day, 18 domestic flights at Jeju International Airport (8 departures and 10 arrivals) were canceled.
In addition, 13 flights, including 12 domestic flights (4 departures and 8 arrivals) and 1 international flight (arrival), were delayed.
The total number of flights scheduled to operate at Jeju Airport that day was 491, including 437 domestic flights (220 departures and 217 arrivals) and 54 international flights (26 departures and 28 arrivals).
Currently, strong wind and sudden wind change warnings are in effect at Jeju Airport.
An airport official stated, "Not only in Jeju but also at other regional airports such as Gimhae, Yeosu, Pohang, and Gyeongju, the weather is unfavorable, causing flight cancellations and delays. We ask passengers to check flight information before coming to the airport."
