Entering 24-Hour Emergency Duty System
The Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea Rural Community Corporation (Head Lee Jeong-moon) announced on the 29th that it has urgently activated the 'Disaster Safety Situation Room' and entered an emergency duty system in response to the weekend's heavy concentrated rainfall.
According to the Jeonbuk Headquarters, from 3 PM on the same day, the Disaster Safety Situation Room was immediately operated to respond quickly and proactively to natural disasters.

The Jeonbuk Headquarters conducted emergency inspections of 2,110 major facilities, including 89 pumping and drainage stations across the province. Major facilities are monitored in real-time according to weather conditions. The plan is to secure the stability of agricultural production infrastructure from disasters through accurate situation assessment, communication, and prompt action, and to respond proactively.
The Disaster Safety Situation Room is being urgently operated for the fourth time this year. It is operated to establish a comprehensive disaster management system, enabling rapid response and recovery in the event of a disaster.
Head Lee Jeong-moon said, "Due to recent rapid climate changes, unexpected disaster situations occur frequently, so we will maintain an immediate response system and do our best in safety management through thorough facility inspections and preparedness."
