The Gwangju Regional Veterans Office (Director Ha Seong-il) announced on the 28th that it presented a commendation plaque from the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to Kim Chun-jin, President of the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation.
Since his appointment in March 2021, President Kim Chun-jin has actively expanded the hiring of national veterans and has responded to veterans policies through employment competency development programs such as youth internships for national merit recipients.
A representative of the Gwangju Regional Veterans Office stated, “We express our gratitude to the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation for their efforts to honor and stabilize the lives of national merit recipients,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to foster a culture of respect and honor for national merit recipients and to spread veterans culture.”
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs is strengthening cooperative relations related to veterans policies by awarding external contributors related to employment support policies in commemoration of the Month of Patriots and Veterans Affairs in June.
