Dong-A University Holds Conference to Announce Teacher Invitation Admission Results

Disclosure of Information on 2024 School Record Comprehensive Admission Process

The Admissions Office of Dong-A University (Director: Shin Sangmun) announced on the 28th that it has concluded the "2024 Admissions Results Conference for Invited Teachers," targeting about 170 high school teachers from the Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Gyeongbuk regions.

This event, held on the 25th at Event Hall D of the Busan Port International Exhibition and Convention Center, was organized to enhance trust between high schools and universities and to contribute to the substantiality of high school education by disclosing the 2024 admissions results and providing guidance on the 2025 admissions process.

Dong-A University provided valuable information for teachers' academic guidance by presenting the 2024 admissions results and 2025 admissions guidelines, as well as evaluation cases for the 2024 student record comprehensive screening, based on analyses of successful applicants, document and interview evaluation methods, and basic statistics by admissions type.

In particular, Dong-A University shared the news of its continued increase in admissions competition rates and entrance scores over the past four years, despite the challenging admissions environment caused by a sharp decline in the school-age population, as well as its selection in the first round of the Glocal University 30 project.

Additionally, the university received positive feedback from teachers by utilizing specific data in the presentation, such as the increase in medical school enrollment and the establishment of the Division of Liberal Studies.

Furthermore, the "Dong-A University Admissions Guidebook" was distributed to help teachers better understand the 2025 admissions process, ensuring that those who could not attend the event could also refer to the information.

Director Shin stated, "I hope this conference will provide practical support for students' career and academic planning," and added, "We will do our utmost to help students who wish to enter Dong-A University gain admission to their desired departments."
