Yeosu Dolsan Gat Rural Convergence Industry Project Group Participates in Nationwide 8-Province Local Food Expo

Exhibition to be Held from the 28th to the 30th

The Yeosu Dolsan Gat Rural Convergence Industry Group (hereinafter referred to as the Group) announced that it participated in the '2024 National 8 Provinces Local Food Expo' held at the Daejeon Convention Center from the 28th to the 30th.

This expo, hosted by the Korea Exhibition Industry Association, is held under the theme of 'A Grand Festival of Safe and Healthy Food from 8 Provinces Nationwide,' where agricultural, livestock, and fishery product companies and local governments from across the country participate to develop sales channels and promote local specialty products.

A representative of the Group stated, “We participated in this expo to widely promote the excellence and products of Yeosu Dolsan Gat,” adding, “During the expo, we provided a venue for visitors to directly experience Dolsan Gat produced in Yeosu, the hometown of Gat, through product sales and tasting events.”

Additionally, Yeosu Dolsan Gat will be promoted through TJB Broadcasting Station’s program titled '2024 Cheer Up Daejeon·Sejong·Chungnam! National Local Food & Small Business Products Expo.'

The Group plans to continue communicating with consumers through various promotional activities and events by participating in this expo to widely publicize the excellence of Yeosu Dolsan Gat nationwide. According to the Group, this effort aims to establish Yeosu Dolsan Gat as a beloved brand both domestically and internationally.

A representative of the Group expressed, "We are pleased to have achieved results by providing a place to taste and sell Dolsan Gat products from the hometown of Gat," and added, “We will also participate in the 2024 Paldo Bapsang Fair, held for four days from July 4th to 7th at the Suwon Convention Center, to promote the excellence of Yeosu Dolsan Gat and products utilizing Yeosu Dolsan Gat, so we ask for your interest and visits.”

Meanwhile, the Yeosu Dolsan Gat Rural Convergence Industry Group is striving for balanced development through the primary industry of Dolsan Gat production, the secondary industry focused on processing Dolsan Gat kimchi, and the tertiary industry linked to experience and tourism. Through this, they are working to promote the consumption of Yeosu Dolsan Gat and revitalize the local economy.
