BNK Gyeongnam Bank Delivers Consolation Funds to Local Military Units ... Expresses Gratitude for Soldiers' Dedication

BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 28th that, in commemoration of the Month of Patriots and Veterans, it delivered consolation funds to the 39th Infantry Division, the regional responsible military unit.

Bank President Ye Kyungtak visited the main headquarters of the 39th Infantry Division located in Gunbuk-myeon, Haman-gun, and delivered a "Certificate of Consolation Fund" to Division Commander Kim Jongmook.

The consolation funds prepared by BNK Gyeongnam Bank are expected to be used to improve the welfare of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces personnel.

After watching an introduction video about the unit, President Ye Kyungtak had a conversation with Commander Kim Jongmook and expressed his gratitude for the soldiers' dedication.

President Ye stated, "We prepared this event to both remember the noble sacrifices of patriots and veterans and to encourage the soldiers who are responsible for the defense of Korea. BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to show interest in local military units that are devoted to regional security."

Meanwhile, BNK Gyeongnam Bank plans to expand practical exchange activities, such as promoting "security site visits," to provide employees with opportunities to indirectly experience military units and raise security awareness.
