Wangjeong-dong in Namwon-si, Jeonbuk recently held the first monthly meeting of the 14th Resident Autonomy Committee in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the Administrative Welfare Center, the office announced on the 28th.
This time, Lee Geumnam was elected as the 14th Resident Autonomy Committee Chairperson of Wangjeong-dong, and they resolved to make their best efforts in operating the community love room, revitalizing programs, and volunteering.

Yang Byeong-o, head of Wangjeong-dong, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to former Resident Autonomy Committee Chairperson Kim Jongsuk, who passionately fulfilled the roles of the 12th and 13th Resident Autonomy Committees despite difficulties caused by COVID-19, and who worked hard for the activation and development of the Wangjeong-dong Resident Autonomy Committee through dedication and service.”
He added, “We expect that Chairperson Lee Geumnam, elected as the 14th Resident Autonomy Committee Chairperson this year and the first female chairperson of Wangjeong-dong, will greatly contribute to the development of the Wangjeong-dong community love room and the revitalization of programs with her characteristic calmness, inclusiveness, and meticulousness.”
Chairperson Lee Geumnam pledged, “I will continuously devote my passion to operating and developing the Wangjeong-dong community love room so that residents can comfortably and actively use various programs through enhanced communication by listening to the voices of the residents and committee members.”
