Jungjingong and KOTRA Hold Export Voucher Lead Agency Council Meeting

Sharing the First Half Year Export Voucher Project Achievements and Best Practices

The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 28th that it held the '2024 First Half Export Voucher Project General Implementing Agencies Council' at Lotte Hotel Seoul in collaboration with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).


First introduced in 2021, the designated general implementing agencies for the export voucher project manage the selection of implementing agencies that supply voucher services in five fields: ▲consulting ▲overseas standard certification ▲patents and intellectual property rights ▲design development ▲international transportation, as well as the quality of these services.

At the council meeting, five agencies participated as general implementing agencies: the Korean Standards Association, Korea Conformity Laboratories, Korea Institute of Patent and Technology Promotion, Korea Institute of Design Promotion, and Korea International Freight Forwarders Association. The participating agencies shared the achievements of the export voucher project in the first half of this year and best practices of the general implementing agencies, and discussed collaboration plans to create export performance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies.


Specifically, they presented on ▲expanding customized service support according to the growth stages of companies ▲project implementation directions to respond to rapidly changing global environmental changes ▲and on-site opinions to improve the quality of services performed by implementing agencies. Kim Il-ho, Director of Global Growth at the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, “This council was an opportunity for export voucher management agencies and general implementing agencies to come together and share responsibility for export companies amid the rapidly changing international situation, and to strengthen the substance of the project.” He added, “Going forward, the Small and Medium Business Corporation will continue to listen to voices from the field and actively strive to lead the creation of export performance and support globalization of small and medium ventures.”
