Incheon City announced on the 28th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Youth Growth Project' to support new employees' workplace adaptation and retention.
The Youth Growth Project provides training to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies that recognize the need for new employee training but face economic and time constraints, helping new employees to settle stably within the company and organization.
The city will conduct corporate culture training for 350 company managers, including CEOs, middle managers, and HR personnel, to help them understand and coexist with youth. Additionally, job competency enhancement and organizational adaptation support training will be provided to 350 new employees (aged 18-39, with less than 2 years of employment). The program will be held 12 times in total, with 25 participants per session.
The Youth Growth Project, launched for the first time this year, is a project selected by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and anyone working at priority support companies in Incheon can participate.
The training is free, and applications can be submitted through the Incheon Youth Portal, BizOK, and the Incheon Employers Federation websites. Participants who complete the course will receive benefits such as mentor allowances and welcome kits.
An official from Incheon City stated, "We will support companies in creating a corporate culture where youth want to work, and help young employees develop practical skills to quickly adapt to organizations, thereby creating a work environment that is good for both youth and companies."
