Yang Jong-hee, KB Financial Group Chairman, "Creating Finance That Changes the World"... Publishes Sustainability Management Report

Yang Jong-hee, Chairman of KB Financial Group, stated, "Based on positive influence, we will create 'finance that changes the world' for the happiness of customers and society and a better world."

In his greeting message in the '2023 KB Financial Sustainability Management Report' released on the 28th, Chairman Yang said, "The essence of sustainability is that growth can only be achieved when all parties coexist harmoniously and mutually benefit."

Since 2011, KB Financial has published an annual sustainability management report, disclosing key ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) achievements and activities to various stakeholders, including customers and society.

This report is composed of a total of 13 core topics, including 9 material issues and 4 general topics. The core topics were derived based on the Double Materiality assessment, which considers the mutual impact between the company and the environment and society.

The most notable feature of this report is that it explains five topics?risk management, climate change response, win-win finance, financial consumer protection, and digital innovation and technology?based on the four key elements of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) sustainability disclosure standards: governance, risk management, strategy, and metrics and targets.
