Gongju City Offers 5% Additional Cashback When Paying with Gongju Pay at Affordable Price Stores

Starting July, 10% Basic Pre-Discount Plus 5% Additional Cashback Offered

Gongju City in Chungnam announced on the 28th that starting in July, customers who pay with the mobile local currency 'Gongju Pay' at designated Good Price Stores within the city will receive an additional 5% cashback.

The city will run a 'cashback event' until the budget is exhausted to alleviate the economic burden on small business owners amid ongoing high inflation and high interest rates, and to promote consumption among local residents.

Consumers who purchase products at Good Price Stores using Gongju Pay can earn a 5% cashback on the payment amount in addition to the basic 10% pre-discount.

There are 17 Good Price Stores within Gongju City, including restaurants and hair salons. They can be checked on the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Good Price Store website or Gongju City's official website.

Meanwhile, the cumulative number of Gongju Pay subscribers is approximately 192,600, with about 4,700 affiliated stores. The total issuance volume amounts to 615 billion KRW.
