Various Contributions Including Support for Veterans' Families and Visits to Military Units
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) received the Presidential Citation at the "2024 Patriots and Veterans Month Government Awards Ceremony" held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel on the 27th.
The "Patriots and Veterans Month Government Awards Ceremony" is hosted annually by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to foster pride among exemplary patriots and veterans and to raise public awareness. The event presents Presidential Citations, Prime Minister Citations, and other awards to individuals and organizations.
Since 2009, Busan Bank has been recognized for its contributions in supporting national merit recipients and their families, as well as for visiting local military units every year and carrying out various support projects in the field of veterans affairs.
At this awards ceremony, Busan Bank was the only recipient among the awardees to receive the Presidential Group Citation.
Son Daejin, Head of Customer Planning Division at Busan Bank, stated, "Busan Bank has been striving to create a society where those who have made noble sacrifices and efforts for the nation are respected," and added, "We will continue to honor their spirit of sacrifice and further support related projects."
Busan Bank is involved in various initiatives, including support for the "Heroes in Uniform" project, the "Love Sharing Fund" for national merit recipients, donations to local military units, and meal support projects for elderly veterans' families.
