POSCO E&C announced on the 28th that it will officially begin the sale of 'The Sharp Riomont,' located at 132 Eomgung-dong, Sasang-gu, Busan.
The Sharp Riomont combines POSCO E&C's apartment brand 'The Sharp' with the Spanish words 'Rio' meaning river and 'Monte' meaning mountain. It emphasizes the prime location embracing both the Nakdong River and Seunghak Mountain, highlighting the site's natural surroundings. The complex will consist of 11 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to a maximum of 29 floors above ground, totaling 1,305 units (exclusive area 39~84㎡), of which 866 units (exclusive 59·72·84㎡) will be available for general sale.
The subscription schedule starts with special supply on the 8th of next month, followed by first-priority applications on the 9th and second-priority on the 10th. Winners will be announced on the 19th of the same month, with official contracts taking place from the 29th to the 31st. Eligibility for first-priority subscription requires a minimum of 6 months of subscription to the housing subscription savings account, and applicants must be residents of Busan, Ulsan, or Gyeongnam aged 19 or older nationwide who meet the deposit requirements by region and area. The resale restriction period is 6 months, with no residency obligation or re-subscription restrictions applied.
Regarding transportation, the Eomgung Station on the Sasang~Hadan Line (scheduled to open in 2026) is about 400 meters on foot, promising a station-area location. Nearby, the Seunghak Tunnel (planned), connecting Western Busan and downtown Busan, is also underway. Development benefits include the Western Busan Administrative Complex Town (scheduled for 2027), which will serve as Busan's second government office, and the Sasang Dream Smart City (planned), a project integrating digital technology into the Sasang industrial area.
Living infrastructure includes Donggung Elementary and Eomgung Elementary schools within walking distance, with plans for a boarding middle school and autonomous public high school nearby. In addition to Seunghak Mountain and the Nakdong River, ecological parks such as Eulsukdo Ecological Park, Samnak Ecological Park, and Eomgung Retention Pond Park are close by, offering a healing lifestyle. Lotte Mart, E-Mart, Sasang Bus Terminal, and government offices are also nearby.
The layout mainly faces south with a slab-type design (except for some units), enhancing openness, lighting, and ventilation. Each unit type includes features such as alpha rooms, master bedroom dressing rooms, entrance storage, and pantries to improve space utilization. Some upper-floor units offer views of the Nakdong River and Seunghak Mountain. Landscaping includes a lawn plaza, kids' pool, themed playground, Fermata Garden, and Palm Garden. The community facilities feature a screen golf course, fitness center, GX room, table tennis room, sauna with hot and cold baths and dry docks, a book caf?, kids' room, and private study rooms.
A sales representative stated, "As the first The Sharp apartment in Sasang-gu, we will present a landmark representing Western Busan with the highest quality befitting its symbolism. We will further elevate the status of The Sharp brand, which has already been verified in representative areas of Busan such as Haeundae, Myeongji International City, and Suyeong-gu."
