Mirae Asset Overseas Exchange Scholars Participate in 'Sharing Day' House-Building Volunteer Activity

The Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation announced on the 28th that it held the ‘Mirae Asset Sharing Day’ with overseas exchange scholarship students and participated in a house-building volunteer activity.

‘Mirae Asset Sharing Day’ is a program where senior and junior scholarship students who have returned from overseas exchange programs interact with each other, fostering a sense of belonging as scholarship students and practicing a culture of sharing. On the 27th, about 40 overseas exchange scholarship students participated in a house-building volunteer activity at the Habitat Cheonan construction site.

The scholarship students took part in insulation work and floor construction, contributing to creating new homes for families living in poor housing conditions. Kang Yoon-jung, a 2023 scholarship student dispatched to Germany, said, "I felt great fulfillment in the process of making something with my own hands through volunteer work," adding, "I was happy thinking that the house we built could become a new hope for someone, and I hope there will be more opportunities for scholarship students to participate together."

A representative of the Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation said, "We are pleased to provide scholarship students with opportunities to practice sharing through volunteer activities," and added, "We will continue to do our best to strengthen the capabilities of scholarship students and promote a virtuous cycle of sharing through various networking activities."

The Mirae Asset overseas exchange scholarship program is a flagship talent development program of Mirae Asset. Since the first selection in 2007, it has supported over 7,210 university students to study abroad and experience culture in 50 countries worldwide.
