On the 28th, agency Big Hit Music announced that at 1 PM KST, the song "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)" from Jimin's second solo album "MUSE" will be pre-released on global music platforms.

This track features rapper Loco, marking the first collaboration between him and Jimin. Jimin suggested the feature because he felt Loco's uniquely energetic and delicate rap style matched the song's vibe well, and Loco gladly accepted, making their collaboration possible.

The song title holds a playful backstory. During the production of Jimin's first solo album "FACE," released in March 2023, he lived and worked closely with producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN in the studio, fully immersing themselves in the creative process.

Jimin and the production team dubbed themselves the fictional group "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band," working as one unit, and even introduced themselves as such in a video content released last October. This fun inside joke became the title of the pre-release track on "MUSE."

Blending big band (large orchestra) sounds with hip-hop, "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)" is based on the concept of a marching band performing while moving, creating an overall lively and dynamic atmosphere. The song was produced by Tommy Brown, who has worked on hits for Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and The Weeknd, along with composer and producer Mr. Franks, Pdogg, and GHSTLOOP. Jimin also participated in the song's production, infusing his own style.

On the 27th, a track video teaser featuring both Loco and Jimin was released, heightening fans' anticipation for the song. Through a fairy-tale-like beautiful backdrop and joyful rhythm, Jimin previewed that "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)" is a bright and warm track.

At 1 PM on the 28th, the song "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)" will be released, and simultaneously, the track video will be available on HYBE LABELS' official YouTube channel.

The album "MUSE," set to be released on the 19th of next month, will include a total of seven tracks, including the pre-release song, the title track "Who," "Rebirth (Intro)," "Interlude: Showtime," "Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson)," "Be Mine," and "Closer Than This." All seven songs are closely connected under the theme of "love."
