Gyeongbuk Office of Education Holds Job Expansion Meeting for Vocational High Schools with Companies... Dongbo, Sewonmulsan, and Others Attend

Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) held a communication meeting for the eastern, western, and southern regions at 'Lahan Select Gyeongju' in downtown Gyeongju on the 28th, with over 20 participants including representatives of outstanding local companies related to employment at vocational high schools and representatives of relevant organizations, to promote connections between vocational high school students and leading companies and to expand employment opportunities.


This meeting was organized to express gratitude for the safe operation of on-site training and recruitment connections for students at vocational high schools in the province, and to gather opinions for building a sustainable cooperation system and expanding employment opportunities for high school graduates.

Gyeongbuk Office of Education has maintained the nation's highest employment rate for vocational high school graduates for four consecutive years according to the Ministry of Education's employment statistics, and is focusing on fostering skilled and capable talent with strong on-site adaptability through initiatives such as the Vocational Education Innovation District Project, the Gyeongbuk-style Meister School program, and restructuring of departments linked to Gyeongbuk's industries.


The event was attended by the head of the Gyeongbuk Western Branch of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, the head of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Western Regional Center of the Korea Productivity Center, as well as representatives of relevant organizations from the eastern, western, and southern regions (Gyeongju, Gyeongsan, Yeongcheon, Gumi, Gimcheon, Sangju), and company representatives and recruitment officials from Dongbo Co., Ltd., Sewonmulsan Co., Ltd., Mothers Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Wooshin Steel Co., Ltd., Donghae Metal Co., Ltd., Sandong Metal Industry Co., Ltd., ESTechnology Co., Ltd., Yoseokgung 1779, Our Siseon Co., Ltd., and Wangjjang School.


Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of Gyeongbuk Office of Education, said, "I am deeply grateful to have established a cooperative system through this meeting with representatives of organizations and companies involved in on-site training," and added, "We will continue to actively support our students' participation in on-site training and employment linkage with outstanding local companies."
