Up to 20 Million KRW Support Covering 70% of Remodeling Costs
For Youth Aged 19-45 Residing in Dobong-gu, Applications Open Until September

Dobong-gu Supports Initial Funding for Youth Startups... Up to 500,000 KRW Monthly Rent Assistance

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will support startup youth preparing to start a business with initial startup funds such as remodeling costs and rent.


The district plans to announce the Dobong-gu Youth Store Startup Support Project on July 1st to provide information on this support.


The support includes 70% of store remodeling costs up to 20 million KRW and monthly rent support up to 500,000 KRW for one year.


A district official stated, "Due to the ongoing economic downturn, companies are reducing their hiring scale, and as a result, young people are turning their attention to startups," adding, "The district planned this support project reflecting such circumstances."


The support target is youth aged 19 to 45 residing in Dobong-gu who are preparing to start a business. Applications can be submitted via email to the person in charge by September this year.


After submission, a review committee composed of startup experts will evaluate based on criteria such as entrepreneurial will, business content, and business plan, selecting a final five candidates.


Selected young entrepreneurs will receive not only initial startup funds but also aftercare services such as startup consulting linked with local infrastructure like the Youth Startup Center.


Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, "The district has previously established employment and startup infrastructures such as the Youth Startup Center and Youth Employment Support Center. It is time for various support projects utilizing these," and added, "In addition to this youth store startup support, we will continue to promote various support projects that provide practical help for youth employment and startups."
