Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Attends Elderly Samgyetang Sharing Event

Attendance at the 'Senior Samgyetang Sharing Event' held at Korea Polytechnics Seoul Gangseo Campus

Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo District, Seoul, attended the "Senior Samgyetang Sharing Event" held at Korea Polytechnic University Seoul Gangseo Campus on the 27th.

The event, prepared by Korea Polytechnic University Seoul Gangseo Campus (Dean Yeo Sang-tae), was organized to help local seniors have a healthy summer.

Kim Byung-hee, Honorary Dean (Honorary Director of Gangseo Cultural Center), sponsored the ingredients for samgyetang, and students from the Culinary Arts Department personally prepared samgyetang, assorted fruits, and sujeonggwa, which were provided to about 30 local seniors.

Dean Yeo Sang-tae said, "I hope you enjoy this special samgyetang made with good ingredients and the students' sincerity, and have a healthy summer this year."

Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon responded, "I deeply appreciate not only your active cooperation for the mutual development between the school and the local community but also your annual commitment to holding the samgyetang sharing event for local seniors without fail."

Meanwhile, Korea Polytechnic University Seoul Gangseo Campus continues to carry out social contribution activities through vocational training courses linked with the local community and resident participation programs.
