On the 26th, Kumho Tire held a 'Safety Culture Practice Resolution Meeting' at its Gwangju factory to reaffirm the importance of disaster prevention and to create a safe workplace.


Kumho Tire Holds 'Safety Culture Practice Resolution Meeting'

The resolution meeting was attended by Lee Seong-ryong, Director of the Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Office; Kim Moo-young, Head of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency; Lee Seong-jin, Chairman of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Manufacturing Industry Autonomous Safety Association; Kumho Tire Vice President Kim Myung-sun; Executive Director Hwang Ho-gil; factory managers and employees from Gwangju and Gokseong factories; and about 200 partners and stakeholders. They pledged to do their best to ensure workers' safety and healthy lives by preventing accidents.


The resolution meeting proceeded with the reading of the safety practice pledge, posting of safety slogans, awarding of safety badges, and a card performance.


A Kumho Tire official stated, “This resolution meeting was held to raise awareness of safety accidents and serious disasters in the manufacturing field and to make a commitment and pledge to achieve zero safety accidents. We will build a stronger safety culture starting from this resolution meeting.”
