Resolving Human Rights Questions and Providing Advice
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 27th the opening of the "Sseudam Sseudam Human Rights Counseling Center" to prevent human rights violations such as power harassment and workplace bullying within the organization.
YGPA established a counseling channel to prevent human rights violations such as power harassment, workplace bullying, and sexual harassment through consultations with human rights experts, and to provide advice and resolve questions related to human rights.
In addition, after conducting a naming contest for the counseling channel among all employees, the name "Sseudam Sseudam Human Rights Counseling Center," proposed by Manager Bae Su-hyun of the ESG Management Office, was selected.
This name conveys the meaning of a human rights counseling center that comforts the mind through counseling when experiencing human rights violations or concerns about human rights in company life.
President Park Seong-hyun said, “The Human Rights Counseling Center will serve as a tool to further enhance employees' understanding of human rights,” and added, “We expect that the Human Rights Counseling Center, named through employee participation, will gather diverse voices and raise YGPA’s sensitivity to human rights.”
