The training was held for three hours with the invitation of So Ji-hoon, Secretary General of the Jeonbuk Branch of the Korea Black Goat Association.
The main topics included ▲ understanding black goats and their behavioral habits for appropriate feeding management according to breeding purposes ▲ prevention and treatment methods for frequently occurring goat diseases.
After the lecture, there was a Q&A session regarding how to respond to black goat disease outbreaks and difficulties encountered during feeding management.
Farmers who participated in the training said, “This training was a valuable time that helped solve difficulties we usually face while raising black goats.”
An official from the Agricultural Technology Center stated, “Interest in the black goat industry is increasing these days, which led us to promote this training. We will further strengthen field-oriented agricultural technology education where farmers, experts, and the technology center work together to solve difficulties occurring in the farming field.”
