Sangjang Association Collaborates with National Assembly Legislative Research Office on Commercial Law Studies and More

Mutual Cooperation MOU Signing

The Korea Listed Companies Association announced on the 27th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation with the National Assembly Legislative Research Office on the 25th.

Going forward, the two organizations plan to mutually cooperate on △investigation and research of legislation and policy matters related to commercial law △stakeholder opinion surveys and questionnaires to advance legislative impact analysis, in order to smoothly achieve the purpose of the agreement to promote mutual development and cooperation.

Jung Gu-yong, Chairman of the Listed Companies Association, said, "Through this MOU, we expect sufficient legislative impact analysis on the recently proposed amendments to commercial law in the National Assembly, contributing to the development of the national economy."

Park Sang-chul, Director of the Legislative Research Office, stated, "We expect the two organizations to play a key role in advancing the legislative impact analysis system, which is essential for creating better laws."
