Ulsan Celebrates 2nd Anniversary of 8th Civil Administration with 'Supporting Youth Dreams'

Mayor Kim Dookyum Holds 'Brown Bag Meeting' to Communicate with Youth

On the 27th, Ulsan City will hold the 'Fun City Creation: Youth Brown Bag Meeting' at the University of Ulsan to listen to and communicate with the voices of young people, commemorating the second anniversary of the 8th popularly elected administration.

This event will be attended by Mayor Kim Dukyum of Ulsan, Councilor Kwon Sunyong, who is the chairman of the Ulsan City Council's 'Special Committee for Ulsan, the City of Dreams, Together with Youth,' student representatives from the University of Ulsan, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, Ulsan College, and Chunhae Health College, young professors, young artists, and representatives of youth organizations and entrepreneurs, totaling about 20 participants.

Mayor Kim Dukyum and the youth will have lunch together and share their opinions on making Ulsan a fun city and on youth policies. They will also have an honest conversation about the thoughts and suggestions of the youth.

Mayor Kim stated, "Through pro-business policies, we have attracted large-scale investments amounting to 20.9 trillion won over the past two years since the start of the 8th administration," and added, "To make Ulsan once again a prosperous city and a youth city, I will strive to listen to diverse opinions from young people and reflect them in our policies, implementing policies that resonate with the youth."

According to Ulsan City's 2024 Youth Policy Implementation Plan, the city is currently promoting 82 projects in five areas (jobs, housing, education, welfare & culture, participation & rights) with a budget of 119.5 billion won.
